希臘克里克島原生品種的滋味!
Following on his success with wines from Santorini, Sean Yu continues his forays into Greece with a strong shipment of salty white wines from the island of Crete, where he has discovered Lyrarakis, not Ararakis, I don’t think. the L is turned on its side in the Greek alphabet. These are all extraordinary food wines, fresh and bright and saline. Daphne actually smelled quite strongly of sage. How on earth did they manage that? But it begged to be paired with roasted leg of lamb, a Cretan classic. The net effect of this experience was to re-inflame my desire to visit Crete. It’s going to happen, but Greece has so many attractions… For now we’ll have to experience it all vicariously through Sean’s brave selections he brings back to Taiwan.
