Imagine a restaurant called REALLY GOOD SEAFOOD, and then imagine it true,
and then imagine all this really good seafood paired with a stunning lineup of Grower Champagnes and Grand Cru Bourgognes.

So it was for us the other night at the annual Domaine Wine Cellars celebratory dinner,
and as David Pan, the owner of ‘Domaine’ declared, he intended in this way to thank all of us for helping Domaine continue to succeed despite what many in our industry are experiencing as a shrinking market for wine in Taiwan.

Domaine continues to import masses of fine Grower Champagne and elegant Burgundies, in a portfolio that astutely features some of the most innovative and delicious wines in the world.

Every year David leads a small delegation of his senior staff to France where this year they visited 70 producers in 2 weeks, close to 5 per day on average. He got back less than a day before the party, but summoned up massive bonhomie from somewhere to greet everyone and sing like a sailor with his sirens surrounding him.
